Holiday Portrait Event at Jamaroo, November 5th-6th

A 20 minute portrait session in picturesque Pacific Heights is just right to capture 8-10 candid, lifestyle images perfect for creating a delightful holiday card. The cost is $100 which includes the photo shoot and a set of 25 cards.

We will be on location in and  around Jamaroo Kids at 2001 Pine Street on November 5th & 6th from 9AM – noon! Sessions are shorter than usual, but our style is the same. Just like our Short & Sweet, these holiday sessions are candid and full of play. You’ll be presented with a 8-10 images to create your custom holiday card printed with your choice of photos, color palette, greeting, and design on quality card stock for a luxurious feel. All cards are sized 5×7 and we offer flat or folded styles. 25 flat cards are complimentary. Plus, all of our studio products are available a la carte including prints, wall art, albums to give you a head start on your holiday shopping too!

Can I bring my whole family?

You’re welcome to bring a family of five. One thing to remember is that we are working within a short time frame, so more people requires more direction for an efficient use of time. Twenty minutes is plenty of time to let one or two children run, jump and play and get those great candids that you love. With the whole clan, we will be focused on getting one great family shot and a few individual shots of the kids with your holiday card in mind.

What happens on the day of the event?

We will meet at Jamaroo and may shoot inside or around the neighborhood. Plan to be dressed and ready to begin 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time as sessions are booked back to back. There are plenty of toys and activities to entertain the little ones at Jamaroo before & after your session.

What happens after the event?

We will get right to work preparing your gallery of 8-10 images to choose from. We have streamlined our process so that you can design and order your card & any additional prints online from the comfort of your own living room. Once we receive your order we will create your custom cards and have them printed by our professional lab. Cards will be ready in two weeks.

Do I get the digital files?

Digital files are available for purchase after the session. As always, social media sized files are complimentary with every ordered image.

Can I bring my newborn?

To get those sweet sleepy curled up newborn shots that everyone loves, we generally block out an entire morning to ensure we get them. A mini-session is not enough time to guarantee great results. We recommend scheduling a full-length session for newborns.

What is a full-length session?

During the month of October, we are offering 1-2 hour long portrait sessions, on location anywhere in San Francisco, plus 50 free holiday cards.  Without the time constraints, we are able to accept families larger than six, newborns, and include family pets. As we create a more customized experience for you, sessions result in more images with more emotion. Weekday morning sessions are $200. Evening & weekend dates are limited and require a $250 order minimum.
